Fifth 5th Element Egyptian Tablets
Being a huge fan of the Fifth Element, I wanted to create a wall display that pays homage to the brilliant production design. These are the Egyptian wall tablets that detail the story (in glyphs) of the EVIL, the GATHERING, and the WEAPON. I sculpted these in foam and sealed them with various techniques, then molded in rtv with a fiberglass jacket. They are cast in urethane resin and firm foam to keep them reasonably weighted so you can hang them from a single nail.
Each stone was carefully scaled to scenes from the film and sculpted lifesize.
I'll detail each tablet display below:
First up, we have EVIL. It measures 35.5" X 17.5".
