This is the homepage for the remastered and retooled ORION from 2001 A SPACE ODYSSEY.  TWO FEET LONG!!! 

 

These build-up photos are courtesy of Mr. Steve Vasko.   He did a great job building up this kit.   He did some scratch-built detailing on some sections.  What a great tribute and it shows how far you can take a one of these model kits.

Here we go, folks!!!  First kit photos:

 

This is an ABSOLUTE BEAUTY!!!  I took extra care in creating the molds and restoring this kit to it's intended majesty!! I can't wait to start a buildup.  Total length with rear spires is 2 feet long.

 

  

 

 CRAZY EXTREME DETAIL!  The full kit consists of the body, 2 wings, 2 window strips, the canopy, Pan Am decal sheet, and raised panel detail.
