E.T. STARSHIP Digital model page

Welcome to the E.T. STARSHIP digital model webpage!

 After having created the ULTIMATE EDITION of the physical model (now available!) I decided to offer this model in digital format.  This was created in Jan and Feb 2025.  Enjoy!

  Now you can 3D print your own E.T. Starship at home at any scale you choose. The default scale yields a starshp at an 8" middle ring diameter.  At this scale the model will fit most medium to small sized 3D printers.  Upscale the model to 140% to acheive the identical size you see as my physical resin model kit.

E.T. STARSHIP DIGITAL MODEL (no physical media)

 

The E.T. starship digital model (STL FORMAT) is composed of:

  1. 3 SEPARATELY POSED MINI E.T. figures
  2. Upper Antenna
  3. Antenna cone array
  4. Main Hull (features pass-through windows for easy lighting)
  5. MIDDLE RING - contains 9 openings for the engines, pass through holes for LEDs, pass through holes for wiriing from the engine bells, etc..  Print hollow to allow for a light-weight part.
  6. Language ring which includes the upper and lower vents all attached to an internal double walled LED ring mounts!!  All the engineering has been done for you!  Also included is a version of this WITHOUT the  light mount rings.
  7. 9 Engines (print them as one piece!!)  Textured and non-textured versions included.  They feature a pass-through channel for LED wiring.   Again, I thought of everything you need!
  8. 9 Engine bottom covers (install your LED in each eachine, glue on fly-screen onto the round coverplates and glue them in position!
  9. BOTTOM HULL (you can print this either with the texture or without the texture). 
  10. BOTTOM ENGINE
  11. LANDING RAMP
  12. LANDING RAMP SUPPORT BEAMS
  13. LANDING GEAR X3 (files include separated landing gear also if you want to assemble on your own with metal rods, etc.)
  14. **BONUS flight versions of the landing feet and perimeter engine bells.
As you can tell, I engineered the blazes out of this model, allowing you many options while building.  Print WITH or WITHOUT the surface textures, print in FLIGHT MODE or LANDED mode, print parts with or without internal armatures for holding LED strip.   It's all up to you!!!!
