Rebel B-Wing helmet

Rebel B-Wing helmet project

 This is an an oddball helmet that I never thought I'd replicate, but I came to appreciate the design after making the Y-wing and A-wing helmets.  The closed off nature of the helmet is a bit strange but they designed and made at least 6 of them for the production of return of the jedi.

With the cheeks spaced out at about 5.5", the helmet fits TERRIFIC without the need for any aditional padding!


THE KITS:

 

B-Wing helmet kit

The kit is composed of:

  • 2 vacuformed shells for left and right
  • several resin cast greebles
  • blue 2, blue 5 and blue leader include extra thermal formed visors (sometimes a clear version and a regular styrene version that forms the frame.
  • vinyl decals
**separately I can provide the mic stem, clip, leather and tubing for the foam liner.

HOW IT WAS MADE

The B-wing helmet helmet utilizes many of the same greeblies as the A-WING AND Y-WING helmets, but a several new parts needed to be produced.
