WELCOME TO THE DARK CRYSTAL AUGHRA PAGE!
The Dark Crystal is one of the films that ushered my interests in fantasy and special effects when I was growing up in the 80s. What magnificent artistry!
The STL files are scaled at LIFESIZED - so the parts are quite large! but you're free to reduce them to any scale you'd like. The sculpt is quite accurate.

The 3D project file consists of 4 parts: The main head shell which is hollow 3mm wall thickness, 2 horns and a separate 'third eye' crystal. The eye can easily be removed and replaced with a glass eye.
The horns are simple to place accurately because they each set into their key. The third eye crystal also sets into a pocket, allowing you to paint it separately.
HOW IT WAS MADE
Aughra was sculpted in MOTO and Z Brush. The intial blocking is done in MOTO.
Then the sculpt is taken in to Z-brush for the actual sculpting.
