*IMPORTANT: This hull casting has DIRECT lineage to the filming minature used in ALIENS. This is not a 100% scratch build and being such it has artifacts from it's original 1986 build. This model is an absolute BEHEMOTH!!

Some of the panels are uneven. This isn't due to casting methods, it's preservation maintained from the original filming model. If you want a pristine Narcissus, you need to start from scratch.

Showing below is the EXTERIOR ONLY Standard version. This is the restored 2024 version.

This is the DELUXE version with full interior. Notice the hull comes in two parts to allow full access to the interior. All the parts for the INTERIOR MODULE are included - consoles, walls, bulkhead, floor, etc.)

The narcissus kit is offered as two versions: 1.) Standard version (exterior only) and 2.) Deluxe version that includes a full interior set of parts and alternate hull (removeable upper hull).

The DELUXE VERSION INLUDES ALL OF THIS AND ADDS:

The DELUXE version of this kit comes with this alternate OPTIONAL lower hull mechanical pit replacement panel. To install it you will need to dremel some material away to create a flush opening if you would like to replace the existing detail. The resin is cast thin in this area to facilitate this operation.

I wouldn't consider this a brand new build, but a refit of a pretty old model. It has flavors of old model (some uneven, paneling, details only seen in ALIENS) and new technques (3d printed parts, laser cut pieces). This is not a kit for a beginner but it does posses LOTS of personality.
