Horny Space Toad

This was my first project using SCULPT or COAT, a sculpting medium that allows you to integrate paper and fabric materials into sculpture.  It's really amazing stuff I was introduced to by Riley.

The Toad started life as a pink insulation foam that I carved into shape.  Then I built in some wire armature for the legs and arms and started applying bulk and texture using newspaper, paper towels, old rags and tissue paper.
